In response to the devastating and ongoing crisis in the Ukraine, Millennium is supporting projects in the Ukraine and four other countries.

Ukraine:
We are delivering relief aid in the Ukraine through our implementing program partner. The items include food aid and medical supplies. (This works out to about 50 thousand meals distributed so far.) They are urgently asking for anything more that could be sent to them for distribution. So far our program partners have delivered relief aid to Kharkiv, Chernigiv, Poltava, Zhitomir, Odessa, Bucha, Vinnitsa, and Kiev. Our program partner is also assisting with evacuation transport.

Poland:
We are providing relief aid and assistance to refugees in Poland.

Bulgaria:
Our team is partnering with the Red Cross and providing transportation of refugees from the Ukraine border and providing housing aid assistance in Ruse Bulgaria.

Romania and Moldavia:
Our Romania team is very busy at the Romanian and Moldovan borders with Ukraine. “We are implementing protocols to keep the traffickers away and we are educating refugees about the hazards of trafficking at this critical time. We know our work has helped hundreds, eventually thousands, of people from being trafficked! We are also conducting training for border patrol, law enforcement and the general public.” The Romania program is also helping to distribute items of several containers filled with medical supplies, food, hydration, baby supplies, etc.
